The latest limited-edition dessert creation—featuring mocha ice cream, macadamias, rich milk chocolate, Kona coffee and snickerdoodle cookies—makes a tasty festive treat!
HONOLULU, Oct. 1, 2020 – Hawaiian Host® and Uncle’s Ice Cream have put their heads together once again to create their third ice cream sandwich treat: Uncle’s mocha ice cream paired with Hawaiian Host’s Paradise Collection Milk Chocolate Kona Coffee® macadamias, sandwiched between scratch- made snickerdoodle cookies.
Their first and second ice-cream sandwich collaborations were huge successes—the first, featuring Hawaiian Host’s Dark Chocolate Alohamacs® and Uncle’s Big Island honey ice cream, and the second: Hawaiian Host’s mac nut morsels covered in milk chocolate and toasted coconut with Uncle’s creamy caramel ice cream, respectively.
This new offering is just as tempting, if not more. Third time’s the charm, after all! Picture this: Hawaiian Host’s indulgent Paradise Collection Milk Chocolate Kona Coffee macadamias paired with Uncle’s rich mocha ice cream: all of this, sandwiched between two sweet and cinnamon-y snickerdoodle cookies. With the holidays ahead, we couldn’t think of a more festive (or delicious) treat.
“We had lots of fun creating this third new flavor sensation with Hawaiian Host’s confections. The combination of milk chocolate and island-grown Kona coffee with our handmade mocha ice cream is a winning combo. We’re looking forward to bringing this new treat to our customers,” says Uncle Paul Logan, co-founder of Uncle’s Ice Cream.
“As our first two joint flavor ventures were so successful, we were thrilled to collaborate with Uncle’s Ice Cream to imagine a third tasty creation,” says Ed Schultz, President and CEO of Hawaiian Host Group. “We wanted to not only incorporate our recently launched Paradise Collection, but also create a treat that could be shared during the upcoming fall and winter holidays. We couldn’t think of a better marriage of flavors with this latest entry.”
