Hawaiian Host® and Uncle's Ice Cream Re-launches Top Flavor Collab
Back by popular demand, Hawaiian Host and Uncle’s bring back a fan favorite: their toasted coconut- infused, limited-edition dessert sandwich
HONOLULU, July 27, 2021 – Hawaiian Host® and Uncle’s Ice Cream are happy to announce that one of their limited-edition flavors is back! With summer in full swing, and the success of last summer’s flavor debut, there was no better time to re-introduce the tropical-inspired frozen treat. Hint: toasted coconut, milk chocolate, and macadamias are involved.
In this deliciously wicked ‘wich, Hawaiian Host mac nut morsels covered in milk chocolate
and toasted coconut — one of the decadent flavors from its Paradise Collection pancoated line of chocolate-covered macadamias — are paired with Uncle’s creamy caramel ice cream. The indulgent combination is then sandwiched between two house-made oatmeal cookies.
“With tropical favorites, coconut and macadamia nuts, it makes the perfect summer indulgence with our creamy caramel ice cream,” says Uncle Paul Logan, co-founder of Uncle’s. “It was a real hit when
we first introduced it, and I’m happy to be bringing it back this season.”
You can find the limited-edition Uncle’s/Hawaiian Host® Ice Cream Sandwiches at most of Uncle’s 90+ retailers across O‘ahu: Retailers include ABC Stores and Foodland grocers; Lawson Station outlets and ‘Alohilani Resort in Waikiki; Cooke Street Market and the Hawaiian Chip Company in Honolulu; all Kalapawai Market locations; Waimea Valley Cafés, Waialua Fresh and Island X on the North Shore; Silva’s Grocery in ‘Ewa; and most military commissaries and exchanges.
