Hawaiian Host Now on Select United Airlines’ Flights

United Airlines plane flying over the Hawaiian Islands
HONOLULU, HI, April 2, 2021 – Starting today, United Airlines will serve Hawaiian Host’s classic AlohaMacs milk chocolate-covered macadamias on U.S. mainland-bound flights leaving Honolulu and Maui to customers in premium cabins.
These delightful, travel-sized treats will send mainland travelers off with a sweet memory of their time in the Hawaiian Islands. As AlohaMacs are one of Hawaiian Host’s most popular treats, each pack features a pair of the brand’s fine macadamia nuts coated in handcrafted milk chocolate.
“We’re happy to partner with United Airlines to offer visitors a piece of aloha to remind them of their journey,” said Ed Schultz, President & CEO of Hawaiian Host Group. “We’re proud that Hawaiian Host confections are beloved both here in Hawai‘i and beyond.”
“United has proudly served Hawai‘i for more than 70 years, and we look forward to introducing this local favorite to our premium cabin customers on our more than 20 daily flights from Honolulu and Maui,” said Mandeep Grewal, United’s Vice President of Customer Strategy, Innovation and Catering.
The health and safety of customers and employees is United’s highest priority and customers are required to wear masks at all times when they are not eating or drinking onboard United’s aircraft. For more information on United’s cleaning and safety policies, please visit united.com/cleanplus.
