Hawaiian Host Strawberries & Cream Chocolate Pudding Cheesecake

INGREDIENTS
Crust:
- 2 cups of flour
- 2 blocks butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- Tip: You can crush the Hawaiian Host Strawberries & Cream and put in the crust for a Strawberries & Cream flavoring
Filling:
- 1, 8 oz. cream cheese
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1, 8oz Cool Whip
- 1, 3.4oz Jello Chocolate Pudding (tip: use the pudding that has to be cooked, not the pre-made Jello Chocolate Pudding)
- 2 cups of milk
Topping:
- 1, 8oz Cool Whip
- 1 Bag of Hawaiian Host Strawberries & Cream White Chocolate Macadamias
DIRECTIONS
Crust
"Cut" the flour and sugar into the butter until the texture is crumbly. Pour the flour mixture into a 9" x 13" pan. Gently press the flour mixture into the pan, making sure that the crust is fully extended to the edge of the pan. Bake at 400 degrees, or until the crust is slightly golden colored ... about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.
Note: To facilitate easy removal of the dessert for cutting, and before pouring the crumbs into the pan, line the baking pan with foil, extending it over the side to create a "handle" for easy removal.
Filling
Cream the cheese, sugar and vanilla until the mixture is smooth. Fold the Cool Whip into the cheese mixture and spread it over the cooled crust and refrigerate.
In the meantime, cook the chocolate pudding according to the directions (iusing 2 cups of milk) and set aside to cool.
After the cream cheese mixture has set, pour the cooled pudding over the ream cheese and refrigerate until set.
Topping
Smooth the Cool Whip over the chocolate pudding
Take a bag of Hawaiian Host Strawberries & Cream White Chocolate Macadamias and crush and dice into fine topping bits and layer on top of the Cool Whip for a crunchy finish. (Tip: You can use any of your favorite Hawaiian Host products for this)
