Meet the Artist Behind the Collection

Candice Soon

This year’s Holiday Collection packaging is made even more special thanks to the stunning illustrations created by Candice Soon, an independent artist based in Oʻahu, Hawaiʻi. Candice’s vibrant, whimsical art perfectly captures the spirit of the islands and the joy of the holiday season.

Born in Singapore, she began dabbling in art when she moved to Okinawa to teach English after college. Candice started creating colorful, whimsical paintings using watercolor, gouache, and colored pencil. A few years later, she traded one island for another and moved to Hawaiʻi where she's been ever since, bringing with her the same sense of awe, appreciation, and wonder that sparked her creative journey. Through her exploration of traditional and digital mediums, she hopes to highlight the beauty and culture of all the islands she's been lucky to call home.
