Visiting Mauna Loa's Visitor Center is a must when it comes to visiting Hawaiʻi Island. Below are some reminders and tips when planning your trip to our Visitor Center!
Our address is 16-701 Macadamia Road, Keaʻau, HI 96749. Look for our updated logo on the side of Hawaiʻi Belt Road. Once you see it, make your way down Macadamia Road to arrive at Macadamia Powered Paradise!

In the time since we last hosted guests at our home in Keaʻau, we have gone through some big changes. In 2021, our 76-year-old brand entered a new chapter. Mauna Loa launched a new look featuring illustrations of iconic locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. We also came out with new products, formulations, and launched a solar farm!
In 2022, we installed our 1.2 MW solar panels and 500 kW battery storage system that will allow the plant to run on renewable energy, thus decreasing its reliance on fossil fuels.

In addition to Mauna Loa, fellow local brand Hawaiian Host and Hawaiʻi’s leading incubator Mana Up will be selling at our store. As part of our mission to see Hawaiʻi flourish, we are excited to feature these brands as part of our store experience.
We now offer samples of our macadamia nut products, taking every precaution to ensure the safety of our guests. In addition to providing samples of our products, we also offer bottled Waiākea water and single serve scoops of our dairy-free macadamia ice cream for sale.
